Lead developer of data enabled web-based applications for the Computer Aided Maintenance Enhancement Team (CAMSET). This involved liasing with employees, analyzing the requirements and developing a solution over the time frame of 12 months. The solution involved an open platform (web browsers) connecting to multiple Oracle databases using CGI, extensive database programming, Java and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC). Over 200 Syncrude employees used the applications that I co-developed.
(March 1996 November 1996)
1st Year Programming in Ada (2 classes of 20 students)
1st Year Assembly Language programming (40 students)
Personal Interests
I enjoy reading a good novel, spending time with my two dogs and mountain biking and road cycling. I also love the thrill of indoor rock climbing and roaming about the great out doors.
As a programmer, I also have some pet projects that I work on when during university breaks. I find new technologies such as 3D graphics and the Internet quite fascinating.
